AMERICAN BODY BUILDING: JOHN CENA SHORT (VIDEO)

MOTION
WORK

PROJECT SUMMARY

WWE Superstar John Cena is one of the many athletes signed by American Body Building. This is one of many short video pieces made for the ABB trade show booth for the 2007 Arnold Classic. People waiting in line to get Cena's autograph would see this on a series of big screen LCD TV's (along with commercials for ABB products)

INEPT (HOODIE)

PRINT
WORK

PROJECT SUMMARY

This hoodie illustration was made for Inept (yet another local chicago band I be-friended). They didnt really give any design parameters to follow other than the fact that they couldn't afford to print hoodies using more than one color ink. I made this design to fill the back of the hoodie. They liked it so much they ended up getting it made in a few different color hoodies, and even had it printed on all their equipment.

ONELIFE (T-SHIRT)

PROJECT SUMMARY

This T-shirt of a bear chasing children over the sunset is a two color design on a heather grey fruit of the loom heavy shirt for the local Chicago band, One Life.

DISCOVERY CHANNEL FOOTAGE (VIDEO)

MOTION
WORK

PROJECT SUMMARY

These are some short clips I filmed and edited for the Discovery Channel to use in part of their "History of Milk" special. I shot a few minutes of footage of the model mixing Casein protein while standing on a white sweep. Additional footage of the factory was provided by Optimum Nutrition, and I just edited it down and ran it through some video filters. Click below to view a short montage of some of the clips.

AMERICAN BODY BUILDING: ANIMAL SHORT (VIDEO)

MOTION
WORK

PROJECT SUMMARY

This is the first 30 second video short I made for American Body Building. I got to film it in a warehouse they just bought, but hadn't moved into yet. The idea was to use a little bit of compositing to give the bodybuilder fangs and black out his eyes in post. I also animated a flock of birds racing across the screen to use as the final transition to the new ABB logo I made. All this was done with 3 lights, 1 camera, and a little After Effects magic.

THE WAITING GAME (T-SHIRT)

PROJECT SUMMARY

This is an illustration I did for another local chicago band, The Waiting Game. They wanted a hip looking one-color design. We decided to make a small design coming off the right shoulder. This design is the end result.
